Corrosion causes the majority of drill pipe loss and damages casing, mud pumps, bits, and downhole tools. As downhole temperatures increase, corrosion also increases at a corresponding rate, if the drill string is not protected by chemical treatment. Corrosion inhibitor is the most common method to reduce water on the corrosion of equipment, extending its life, increase productivity.

WS BIOCIDE- AM

WS BIOCIDE-AM is an effective quaternary ammonium compound based bactericide used mainly for control of mixed bacteria, fungi and yeast. It is readily water soluble and inhibits growth of bacteria with good penetrating qualities.

WS SULFA-SCAV S(H2S Scavenger)

WS SULFA- SCAV S is mainly used as the name suggest to scavenge sulphide thus protecting rig people from it and the equipment from sulphide stress corrosion. It is a non-hazardous granular material used in the removal of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) from natural gas streams. WS Mud Detergent

WS Sulfo-Plast is a Sulphonated Asphalt-Black to brown coloured powder.It is water soluble used primarily for shale control.It reduces torque,drag and differential sticking. WS Sodium Silicate

WS Sodium Silicate acts as a first source of inhibition for silicate based drilling fluids. It provides superior shale stability, regardless of shale type. Eighty years later, silicates are still recognized as the most effective water-based shale inhibitor. WS Gil

WS Gil is blackish coloured, fine grained Gilsonite Powder used commonly in packing of 25 kg sacks. Gilsonite has been used in drilling fluids as an additive to assist in borehole stabilization. It has been well documented that this material works efficiently to minimize hole collapse in unstable shale sections. Gilsonite is used in drilling mud fluids and oil well cementing. WS Stuck free -Pipe freeing agents is a blend of emulsifiers, gelling and suspension agents and wetting agents in one drum.WS Stuck Free prime function is to lubricate the wall thus reduces contact between the pipe and the wall. It is used for preparing a fluid for freeing pipe that is differentially stuck ensuring efficient operation by penetrating and breaking the water based mud filter cake. Stuck free typically are formulated with a base fluid and additives that can be incorporated into the active mud system with no adverse effects after the pipe is freed and/or circulation resumes.

WS HEC

WS HEC- HEC is used to increase viscosity in clear brine fluids. HEC is compatible with other drilling fluid additives. It performs very well in drilling, completion, workover and fracturing processes. It is mainly used as a thickener in brine, in addition to many special applications. Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose has excellent salt tolerance of the electrolyte. As Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose is a non-ionic material, in the aqueous medium it will not get ionized, or produce precipitated residues due to the occurrence of high concentrations of salts in the system, resulting in a change in the viscosity.

WS ZanGum

WS ZanGum ( Xanthan Gum ) is highly effective viscosifier which is stable over a wide range of PH values and provides viscosity to water based drilling and completion fluids. High viscosity of solutions and water solubility of the polymer have created important applications for xanthan in the oilfield industry where it is commonly used in drilling fluids and in enhanced oil recovery processes. Xanthan gum provides great “low end” rheology. When the circulation stops, the solids still remain suspended in the drilling fluid. WS STAB RFL

WS STAB RFL, full name Partially Hydraulised Poly Acrylamide ( PHPA) is primarily used for its efficiency in reducing fluid loss and maintaining hole stability and is compatible with most drilling fluid products. The polymer is anionic, attaches itself to the positively charged edges of clay platelets, thus binding the particles together. It can inhibit cuttings dispersion to make solids removing easily and effectively. The adsorbed polymer also lowers the speed of water penetration into shale. Thus improving well bore stability. It is a co-polymer of anionic character and high molecular weight. It is a water soluble polymer, which is primarily used as a highly efficient fluid loss reducer, viscosifier and protective colloid for shale’s and cutting in fresh water, calcium, sodium brines and KCL mud systems. WS Bar

WS Bar is a free flowing baritepowder having specific gravity of Min 4.2 . Barite (Barium Sulphate-BaSO4) is an inert mineral. Barite (BaSO4) is a nonmetallic mineral used as a weighting agent in drilling muds in the oil and gas industry, due to its relatively high specific gravity (4.2). Barites are mined in many areas worldwide and shipped as ore to grinding plants in strategic locations, where API specifies grinding to a particle size of 3 to74 microns. Pure barium sulfate has a specific gravity of 4.50, but drilling-grade barite is expected to have a specific gravity of at least 4.20 to meet API specifications.

WS Hematite (API)

WS Hematite, commonly known as ground Iron Oxide. Hematite is the mineral form of Iron oxide, one of several Iron oxides. HEMATITE is a high-density weighting material. The hematite ore used as a weighting agent in drilling fluids. HEMATITE has a specific gravity of > 5, which is approx. 18% greater than the density of BARITE (4.2). Thus, for a given mud weight, a system weighted with HEMATITE will contain fewer solids by volume. A lower solids concentration will contribute to improved rheological properties, improved penetration rate and decreased overall mud costs.
