Ihm aufgesetzt ist ein rund 20 Meter langer schlanker Kubus, der nach Norden zehn Meter weit auskragt. Außen Beton und im Inneren des Raumbehälters weiches Lärchenholz - dieser spannungsvolle Kontrast erfährt an den Stirnseiten eine Unterbrechung in Form von Loggien, die sich zum Bodensee und ins Land öffnen. Eingebettet in die Hafenlandschaft, zeichnet sich diese »fliegende Raumkapsel« durch ihre helle, lichte Konstruktion aus, durch klare Linien und eine kompromisslose Einfachheit.
