Wie alle unsere Statuen wurde auch diese im aufwendigen Wachsausschmelzverfahren, auch bekannt als "verlorene Form," gefertigt. Dieses jahrtausendealte Verfahren gilt als das aufwändigste und hochwertigste zur Herstellung von Bronzeskulpturen.

Nach dem Gießen wird der Bronze-Rohling durch Zerschlagen der Gussform befreit und anschließend durch Ziselieren verfeinert. Dabei werden Abluftkanäle abgetrennt, eventuell mehrteilig gegossene Teile präzise zusammengeschweißt und die Oberfläche der Skulptur sorgfältig nachbearbeitet. Mit künstlerischer Sorgfalt werden Gesichtszüge, Muskeln und Ornamente in feinster Detailarbeit herausgearbeitet, bevor die Skulptur ihre endgültige Patinierung erhält.
