Der Hitachi UF 18 DSAL Ventilator ist für 14,4 V und 18 V Akkus geeignet. Zudem lässt sich der Ventilator über das mitgelieferte Netzteil zusätzlich mit Strom betreiben. Der UF 18 DSAL verfügt über zwei Modi. Unterscheiden kann man hier zwischen dem Hoch- und Niedrigmodus. Des Weiteren besitzt der Ventilator eine Timerfunktion, mit der er sich nach 1, 2 oder 4 Stunden automatisch abschalten kann. Zudem kann sich das Ventilator-Gehäuse auch 90 Grad nach links und recht drehen.
