Stufentrafobasierte Temperaturregler stellen zur Zeit das Nonplusultra der Klimaregelung dar, im Besonderen, wenn es um Laufruhe des Ventilators geht. Bei allen anderen Reglern wird eine so genannte Phasenanschnittssteuerung verwendet, diese erzeugt im Motor des Ventilators ein Brummen. Dieses kann schon bei 25% Drehzahlminderung lauter werden als das eigentliche Luftgeräusch. Bei einem Stufentrafo brummt nichts! Der GSE Klima-Regler besitzt 6 Stufen, die den angeschlossenen Ventilator immer nur auf der geringstmöglichen Drehzahl laufen lässt. bei der die gewünschte Temperatur noch eingehalten wird. Durch den Hysterese-Regler lässt sich die Empfindlichkeit auf Temperaturänderungen beeinflussen, so dass z.B. in kleineren Räumen nicht dauernd hoch und runtergeregelt wird.
