Für den Crognolo sind es schon fast 95% Sangiovese. Waren es noch vor Jahren deutlich höhere Anteile von Cabernet und Merlot in der Blend für den Crognolo setzt man heute bei Sette Ponti immer mehr auf Eigenständigkeit der Rebsorten. Mittelfristig wird der Crognolo von Sette Ponti dann wohl aus 100% Sangiovese bestehen. Bis dahin geniessen wir aber den famosen Crogonolo und freuen uns, dass die Toskana noch immer solche Weine hervorbringt.
