Der horntools Rockslider LAPIS für Ford Ranger ab Baujahr 2015 und Ranger Raptor ab Baujahr 2019


Robustes Rockslider Design aus Aluminium, das Frontblech ist mit „Dimple Die“ Sicken verstärkt.
Die Tritte lassen sich abschrauben oder bei Bedarf tauschen. Die Bohrungen im Rockslider können, sofern die Trittbretter nicht verwendet werden, mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben verschlossen werden.
 
Die Anbindung ans Fahrzeug geschieht über die bestehenden Gewindeeinsätze an der Karosserieunterseite.

Dafür wird der Rockslider mit 6x M10 Schrauben an die Karosserie verschraubt. Unsere Rockslider haben vom TÜV Süd ein Teilegutachten ausgestellt bekommen.

Wir haben uns für die Leichtbauweise entschieden, daher ist unser Rockslider ein funktioneller Kabinenschutz aus Aluminium, somit nicht geeignet für einen Wagenheber, aber im mittelschweren Gelände ein mehr ausreichender Schutz.

Achtung:

Wenn das Fahrzeug keine originalen Trittbretter hat, werden 12 M10x30mm Schrauben und Unterlegscheiben benötigt!
Die Rockslider sind nur passend für Doppelkabiner.

They seem pretty sturdy and were easy to install with the screws and anchors that came with it. I measured out where i wanted the brackets on the board and then screwed them to it. I then held it against the wall and used a level to make sure it was level, then put a screw in the middle bracket to hold it level while i marked the rest of the screw holes. I did this all by myself, but it would've been a lot easier to do with two people. I plan to buy more and put up more shelves

Does it's purpose with style
We used these in our pantry and dining room for shelves and they turned out well. The only reason they are hard to install is because of the design (which is very nice) so it is worth it. It just takes time when you you are hanging the shelves, to do it correctly. While they can hold a lot, we realized that a bunch of cans or jars cannot go on these shelves. Luckily we had another option for heavy items (Example: We had about 40ish pounds of cans/jars on a 1x12 board that is 33 inches long with 2 of these brackets...and it was too much). If you do not need to hold a lot of weight, these shelves are a for sure, for the price and quality. If you NEED they for something heavy, then you probably will have to go with something more practical from a hardware store. We LOVE them for our pantry!
