Besonderheiten: Dieser 30-jährige Ledaig aus dem Jahrgang 1993 wurde von Gordon & MacPhail im Rahmen der renommierten Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength Serie abgefüllt. Die Reifung erfolgte in einem Refill Sherry Butt, was zu einer limitierten Abfüllung von 381 Flaschen führte. Abgefüllt wurde er am 12. April 2024.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nase: Einladende Aromen von kandiertem Apfel und Vanille, begleitet von warmen Gewürzen, die an einen herbstlichen Nachmittag erinnern.
  • Gaumen: Vollmundig und komplex, mit einer harmonischen Balance zwischen süßen und würzigen Noten, die die lange Reifung widerspiegeln.

However there were just one too many convoluted plot points, sentences just did not flow nicely at times, and I was left with a lot of confusion on my end. I think it has the bones of being a great story but seems like it was rushed and I had to push myself to finish the last of the book and was left with an unsatisfying ending.
