Die Einzel- und Kontaktauslösung ist innerhalb von Sekunden umgestellt. Der Milwaukee M12 BST ist für Typ T11 T50 und T140 10,6 mm Klammern von 6 bis 14 mm geeignet. Selbstverständlich verfügt das Gerät über eine Trockenschussverhinderung. Der Gürtelclip ist sowohl Rechts als auch Links montierbar. Der Akku Tacker ist mit dem Milwaukee M12 kompatibel.
