Der XA FORCES MID GTX EN ist definitiv ein knöchelhoher Halbschuh, der den Träger über lange Zeit begleitet. Der Schuh wurde auf der Grundlage des berühmten und beliebten XA PRO 3D MID GTX entwickelt und orientiert sich noch ein wenig mehr an den Anforderungen möglichst flexibler Einsatzsituationen. Mit einer GORE-TEX Membran ist er etwa wasserdicht, obwohl das Anti-Debris Mesh eine leichte und vor allem flexible Basisstruktur bildet. Mit Doppelnähten wurde der XA FORCES MID GTX EN Black noch einmal in Sachen Langlebigkeit überarbeitet. In dieser Hinsicht verhelfen auch die Fersen- und Zehenverstärkungen aus Gummi zu weniger Abrieb.
Die Konstruktion aus 3D Advanced Chassis stützt den Fuss und sorgt für die gute Passform. Zudem wurde die Zehenkappe erweitert, so dass der Tragekomfort noch einmal verbessert werden konnte. Auch der Spann wurde im Vergleich zum Vorgängermodell verstärkt, so dass er Einsätze beim Klettern und schnellen Abseilen jetzt wesentlich besser unterstützen kann.
Bei der Sohlenkonstruktion bleibt Salomon der bewährten Kombination treu und kombiniert die Contagrip-Aussensohle aus Gummi mit einer EVA Zwischensohle und einer OrthoLite Einlegesohle. Diese Kombination sorgt für optimale Dämpfung, gute Atmungsaktivität und erhöhten Tragekomfort. Die Kombination von Obermaterial und Sohle machen den XA FORCES MID GTX EN nicht nur zu einem leichten, sondern auch zu einem vielseitig weil flexiblen Outdoorschuh. Dog approved.

I’m a 70 lbs Goldendoodle (supposed to be 65, don’t ask) and I love cheese. Real cheese. Sharp cheddar with sourdough bread is my dream, but apparently I’m “on a health journey,” so my people bought me this instead.
Does this bone actually taste like cheese? No. I am not fooled.
Do I still enjoy chewing it loudly while my humans are trying to watch TV? Absolutely yes.
This bone satisfies my need to chew and my emotional desire for cheese-adjacent activities. It keeps me busy, saves the furniture, and lets me crunch dramatically during important dialogue scenes. The yellow color is nice — very cheese-coded — although some cheeses are white, so just something to consider for future versions.
Also, good news: it doesn’t smell like cheese at all, which my humans seem very grateful for. Apparently they don’t want the carpet to smell like a deli. Weird.
