Korkwolle stammt von der Schur des Lammhalses. Sie ist weich und fetthaltig, extrem schmutzabweisend und äußerst strapazierfähig. Aus der Korkwolle können besonders dünne Fäden gesponnen werden, die in dichten Knüpfknoten ein feines Gewebe ergeben. Die weiteren Ghom Teppich-Variationen sprechen für sich selbst.
