Wir sind auch geschmacklich schon im Norden angekommen jetzt. Der Wein hat schon etwas mehr Konzentration als ein Cote de Nuits Villages und diese etwas straffere

Die Lage La Place befindet sich unterhalb des Weiler Fixey im Herzen der Appellation. Genauer liegt der Weinberg unterhalb der 1er Crus im Norden der Gemeinde. Wir sind auch geschmacklich schon im Norden angekommen jetzt. Der Wein hat schon etwas mehr Konzentration als ein Cote-de-Nuits-Villages und diese etwas straffere Tanninstruktur von hier oben. Fixin ist für Fortgeschrittene, schon mit ein wenig Gevrey-Charakter, aber etwas leichter und zugänglicher für deutlich kleineres Geld. Dennoch ein sehr charmanter, feiner Wein.
