Anthurium delannayi ist kein Synonym zu Anthurium recavum, kann aber leicht mit dieser Art verwechselt werden. Anthurium delannayi wächst deutlich wärmer als Anthurium recavum, der Spadix ist weiß statt rosa oder rötlich.
