Es kann schnell und sauber ausgebracht werden, auch bei kalten Temperaturen. Das Verpackungssystem mit wiederverschließbarem Beutel gewährleistet eine geruchsfreie Lagerung und Transport.

Der Geruch von AttraTec No 18 EcoTar ist sehr angenehm und weniger scharf als der von Buchenholzteer oder Suhlengold. Damit ergänzt No 18 EcoTar das AttraTec-Portfolio ideal auf zweifache Art und Weise: Diese zusätzliche Geruchsnote hilft Jägern herauszufinden, welche Vorlieben sein Wild hat. Da es zudem das erste kennzeichnungsfreie Produkt für den Malbaum ist, kann es auch in Wasserschutzgebieten zum Einsatz kommen. Als Nebenwirkung wurde auch Raubwild an einen mit AttraTec No 18 EcoTar behandelten Malbaum beobachtet.
