Die Publikation dokumentiert Scarpas Zusammenarbeit mit dem Kunsthandwerker Saverio Anfodillo und gibt einen repräsentativen Überblick über das architektonische Schaffen eines der bedeutendsten Architekten des 20. Jahrhunderts. 1999 konnte das Museum für angewandte Kunst in Wien aus dem Archiv der Kunsttischlerei eine Reihe von Entwürfen erwerben - etwa für das Museo di Castelvecchio in Verona (1956-1964), die Galleria Querini Stampalia (1961-1963) und das Tomba Brion (1970-1978), aber auch Möbelentwurfsskizzen und Holzmodelle für Detaillösungen wie die Entwürfe für einen Tisch des Komponisten Luigi Nono. Das Buch präsentiert nun erstmals Pläne, Entwurfsskizzen, Pausen und Modelle aus dem Konvolut und ergänzt diese mit Fotografien der wichtigsten Bauten Scarpas. Nice divider!

I use this as a "barrier" to keep my cat out of the guest room. I don't have to close the door anymore because the divider allows light and air through. Adds a nice touch to the decor, as well. Very lightweight and serves its purpose.

Good Room Divider

This room divider worked great to mask my "utility area" in my living room because I'm low on storage space. It's functional and pleasing to the eye, but the quality could be better as there were pieces of debris on the unit and fraying strings. It also can tip over if not positioned just right. I do like the versatility of it though because even though it's a four panel I can fold in one of the panels and use the other three. Overall I like it, the price could be lower based on the quality but its good.

Lightweight and easy to move.

Very lightweight, easy to move. Looks nice in my room. I bought this to direct the flow of window unit air conditioner. Because of how we need to arrange the furniture, the a/c blew directly on us, making it uncomfortable. With this in front fifth a/c, I can arrange the panels to direct the flow out into the room instead of on us.
