Die TTI Folding Thumb Rest ist ein funktionales Upgrade für Airsoft-Pistolen, das die Ergonomie und Rückstoßkontrolle auf ein neues Level hebt. Als "Gas Pedal" bietet sie eine stabile Plattform für den Daumen der Führungshand, um die Mündung bei schnellen Schussfolgen unten zu halten. Dank des innovativen Klappdesigns bleibt die Waffe kompakt und passt problemlos in die meisten gängigen Holster.
1. Material & Design
- Full CNC Aluminium: Aus hochwertigem Leichtbau-Aluminium gefertigt, bietet diese Daumenauflage maximale Stabilität bei minimalem Zusatzgewicht.
- Schwarzes Eloxal-Finish: Die matte, schwarze Oberfläche sorgt für ein dezentes, professionelles Erscheinungsbild und ist extrem widerstandsfähig gegen mechanische Belastungen.
2. Klappfunktion & Holster-Kompatibilität
- Flexibilität im Einsatz: Während starre Daumenauflagen oft spezielle, teure Race-Holster erfordern, lässt sich die TTI-Variante bei Nichtgebrauch einfach einklappen.
- Fester Halt: Im ausgeklappten Zustand arretiert die Auflage sicher und bietet durch die strukturierte Oberfläche optimalen Grip, selbst bei Verwendung von Handschuhen.
3. Performance & Ergonomie
- Muzzle Flip Reduzierung: Durch den vertikalen Druck auf die Daumenauflage wird das Hochschlagen der Waffe minimiert, was die Zeit zur Wiederaufnahme des Visierbildes deutlich verkürzt.
- Linke Seite: Diese Version wird auf der linken Seite des Rahmens montiert und ist die Standard-Konfiguration für Rechtshänder (Daumen der linken Hand bei beidhändigem Griff).

Looks terrific - great price
I needed to replace just one, but ended up using both the left and right so that they matched. In the closeup picture you can see that the original part is chrome with black on the inside edges of the fins, where the replacement is all chrome. This is only obvious up close if you're looking for it. There is also a slight gap in the fit at the lower inside corner - so not perfect, but also not noticable at any reasonable distance. Wide shots shows both replacement parts installed.
As others have mentioned, this is not the same quality as the original BMW part - but at 1/4 of the price, it is a darn good value and has restored the look of my car.
FOR 2003 CONVERTIBLE OWNERS: This part fits the "pre-facelift" model manufactured through March 2003. I learned this the hard way, because I didn't know about the facelift that came half a year later for cabriolets than it did for hard top models. Make sure you know which side of that manufacturing date your 2003 convertible is on before ordering.

Buy OEM
Finish is fine but sizing is wrong and these don't fit tight but rattle. About 3/4" movement in all ways, which will lead to scratched paint.
If you've got a beater, these are fine but for my clean M3, I'll buy OEM from FCP or Turner.
