2023 was a rainy and very warm year. Temperatures were above average throughout the year, although there were no extreme heat peaks. We only reached just under 34 degrees. It rained a lot, especially in spring, August and late fall and winter, filling up Lake Neusiedl again. Made from old vines in Donnerskirchen, Leithaberg, on clay and shale and schist soils. Semi-carbonic whole-cluster maceration for seven days, then fermentation in steel tank and aging for nearly 2 years in used barrels. 270 bottles produced.
