POLOLO ist immer auf der Suche nach neuen ökologischen, modernen Lösungen und Materialien für die Herstellung von schönen und zeitgemäßen Kinderschuhen.

Die Sorge um unsere Umwelt und die Zukunft muss damit verbunden sein, innovative, klima- und umweltverträgliche Lösungswege für die Herstellung von Schuhen und Bekleidung zu finden.  Lange haben wir daher schon nach einer „Leder-unabhängigen“ Lösung für unsere Schuhkollektionen gesucht. In Mexiko haben wir diese gefunden: Kaktus-Leder!

  • Bei diesen Schuhen ist das Rohmaterial ein sogenanntes Kaktus-Leder.
  • Es wird aus den Blättern des Feigenkaktus hergestellt, wobei nur nachwachsende Blätter für die Herstellung verwendet werden. Die Blätter trocknen in der Sonne.
  • Der Anbau ist kontrolliert biologisch.
  • Es wird keine extra Bewässerung und kein Einsatz von Pestiziden vorgenommen.
  • Es beinhaltet keine tierischen Bestandteile.

Verdict: - I’ll be purchasing these again for everyday use and bulk meal prep. The value is strong, and the performance is solid when you match the pan to the job or double up as needed.
