Final Sword Productions brings you Psibertroopers, a book where giant mecha, psionics and space opera intersect. Welcome to Ceybrodin, a star system inhabited by a Diaspora group known as the Psibers. Using the classic D6 system (previously used by WEG in the Star Wars and Metabarons RPGs), this first book in the Dead Night of Space series introduces you to a world where powerful Psibers pilot giant mecha and can use their powers to jump through solid objects. The book gives you quick start rules for those who do not have a prior D6 space opera rulebook, plus the source material necessary to add this star system to any D6 space opera campaign. Also included is background data for campaigning in the Dead Night of Space universe. In addition there are new variant rules for Psi powers and 'Chesspiece Goons' (quick creation and use NPCs).

Was hoping this version would be better, but no. Welcome to the Nite Ize repair center. The pictures show the old version run by LED batteries. Although they claim the balls are waterproof, no. I’ve learned to clean out the contacts and add new batteries to reuse them, but a lot of the time the rust has already formed. The new rechargeable version is more expensive and has the same ‘waterproof’ casing. First charge was good; second charge didn’t even last for our retrieving sessions one evening. Third session on a full Charge didn’t even last one session. Too much money for the quality. When they work - they are great. Unfortunately, still the best on the market, it it’s just like throwing away money. Innovators???

Terrible design. With most dog ball launchers, swinging your arm like you're throwing a baseball results in a long arching trajectory of the ball, just as expected. The same arm motion with this launcher results in the ball flying straight up. To get the ball to even move forward requires an un-natural forward snap of the wrist, and even then it doesn't travel far. Hasn't anyone tried this out before hitting the market?
