The Magico M2 embodies the pinnacle of Magico's innovative engineering, featuring a groundbreaking monocoque enclosure inspired by the M6. Utilizing advanced carbon fiber materials, the M2 offers a structural strength-to-weight ratio 60 times greater than traditional designs, resulting in a lighter, more compact, yet incredibly robust speaker.
Innovative Enclosure Design
The M2's enclosure, reminiscent of an F-35 fighter jet's external shell, is formed from multiple layers of carbon fiber, totaling a 3/8” thickness. This design significantly reduces standing waves and external diffractions, thanks to its curved interior and exterior walls. An internal three-axis matrix framework and tension rods contribute to an extremely rigid structure, eliminating unwanted resonances and colorations.
Advanced Driver Integration
Featuring a Diamond coated Beryllium diaphragm tweeter and innovative graphene-based midrange and bass drivers, the M2 sets a new industry standard. These drivers, acoustically integrated using Magico’s exclusive Elliptical Symmetry Crossover topology, deliver unparalleled resolution, dynamics, and sonic purity.
Revolutionary MPod Technology
The M2's performance is further enhanced by the MPOD, based on Constrained Layer Damping principles. This technology effectively dissipates resonance while maintaining optimal coupling to the floor, resulting in a significant improvement in overall sound quality. The M2 comes with a professional-grade torque wrench for maintenance of its internal tension rods.
