About Naniwa Whetstone Holder
After years of buying and testing dozens of whetstone holders on the market, this is one of our favorite. It’s one of the only holders that uses truly stainless hardware, and rails. It also has one of the widest footprint of all whetstone holders, which makes it one of the most stable to use.
It will hold all but the largest whestones available. Whetstones that are larger than what this holder can handle, generally will come with their own bases, or are specialty stones that require a much different holder solution.

This is our all-time favorite whetstone. Period. If we had to pick one whetstone to use for the rest of his life, it would be this one. It’s fast cutting, responsive, and will give your knives a razor sharp, and well-polished edge. We have chosen this whetstone of whetstone of year for a few years running, and is still his go-to whetstone in his personal kitchen. Made in Japan
