The wood border is comprised of all individual wood pieces individually prepared. Cedar, red oak, rough cedar, poplar, and pine are the primary types of woods used for this border. The frame is painted red oak for strength and rustic texture.

During assembly, each border piece is fastened to one another as well as to the backing board using both adhesive and pin nails. This process essentially forms one piece of wood. It’s solid, rigid, and weighs approximately 33 lbs.

Hanging hardware is installed.
