A dry, fresh and succulent Pinot Gris filled with aromas of toffee apple and mandarin peel. The palate has a crunchy, crisp texture and has great balance. Flavours of apple strudel, toasted vanilla, Mediterranean herbs and fennel come through with almond and green olive notes and a crack of rock salt on the finish.
Crops were down due to early spring frosts and a cold, wet flowering period. Summer was incredibly dry and this lead to an early harvest. The fruit quality was outstanding and wines from the 2021 vintage might just be exceptional. The wine went through a long, cool fermentation in stainless steel tank.
Food Pairing: Sip solo or pair with Asian fare.
