Description:

The Chop Fuzzz is an uncompromising all analog, full-on gated fuzz pedal - with a whole bunch of interesting ways of manipulating the signal.
It’s the latest installment in the Dr Freakenstein dynasty!!!

It’s actually a very specific kind of multi-effects pedal; as well as fuzz, it has two types of modulation, a pressure-operated expression pedal (to do wah wah-like effects), a tunable drone facility - capable of ring modulator tones - and a noise gate.

FUZZ

The fuzz circuit is the same massive distortion one used in the very original Dr Freakenstein Fuzz (plus the three versions that followed, and the first Dr Freakenstein Chop Fuzz, and the six minipedal versions). It’s incredibly loud, with a ton of low-end, and searing highs available.

Yet it’s weirdly quiet when you’re not playing.

The ‘OVERTONE’ control

This is like a wah wah with the tone of an extreme phaser. Set it using the knob, or manipulate it in real time by foot with our Igor pressure pad controller (supplied).

The ‘LFO’ section

This modulates the signal in a slightly more ‘3D’ way than the ‘overtone’ sound. Moving in a triangle waveshape, the speed can be set using two knobs. ‘Slow’ has a low speed range - for long, slowly-twisting cycles right up to fast wobbles, while the second one - ‘fast’ - is in the audio range; tune it in to a specific pitch (across several octaves) underneath the notes or chords that you’re playing.
Toggle between these two on-the-fly with the footswitch.

‘CHOP’

The Chop Fuzzz has a hard squarewave tremolo built-in. When locked-on, in combination with the ‘LFO’ section it can create all kinds of slowly sweeping helicopter effects, or fast, bubbling synthy-sounds.
Or flash it on and off at specific points for a chop accent using the Igor controller.

What else?

It has a ‘Hi/Lo’ intensity switch.

It can be controlled using 5v CV by sequencer or modular synth.

There’s a spooky ‘eye meter’, showing the input signal level, but also - using backlight illumination - the LFO and ‘Chop’ operation and Hi/Lo setting.

The LFO and Chop switches light up - for extra clarity and LED thrillpower!

Both the desk-style enclosure and the knobs are custom Rainger FX designs.

The pedal is true bypass.

The Chop Fuzz is easily the most advanced Dr Freakenstein pedal we’ve produced.
An extreme pedal for extreme sounds.

      Value for money
Size: 500 Count (Pack of 1)
We reorder this item frequently. The cotton content is excellent and is thick. It doesn’t pull off easily. The quantity in the box is plenty to get our family of four through a month. If you have skin sensitivity, these are for you. We have sensitive skin in our family and have no concerns with this product. This product cleans well and the shape of the actual cotton tip holds well.

      Repurchasing for sure
Color: Zero Pore Pads, Size: 70 Count (Pack of 1)
These toner pads have genuinely made my skin look smoother, brighter, and more refreshed. They’re super easy to use and feel really gentle while still giving noticeable results. My skin feels cleaner and softer after using them, and I’ve especially noticed improvement in texture and overall glow. I also love that the pads are really saturated without dripping everywhere, and they don’t irritate my skin. They’ve become such an easy part of my routine, especially on days when I want my skin to look extra fresh and glowy. Definitely one of the better skincare purchases I’ve made lately.

medicube Dual-Textured Facial Pads for Exfoliation and Pore Care
Color: Zero Pore Pads, Size: 70 Count (Pack of 1)
If you’ve spent any time on skincare social media, you’ve likely seen these white tubs with bright blue lids. The Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 is a cult-favorite K-Beauty staple designed for those who struggle with "strawberry nose," excess sebum, and texture. It isn't just a toner; it’s a mechanical and chemical exfoliant hybrid. The Dual-Action Design The "2.0" version features a pre-soaked, double-sided pad that serves two distinct purposes: 1. Embossed Side: Provides gentle physical exfoliation to lift away dead skin cells and debris. 2. Silky Side: Polishes the skin and hydrates, prepping the face for the rest of your routine. The Pros: Why It’s a Bestseller • Noticeable Texture Improvement: Within a week of consistent use, most users notice a significant reduction in "bumps" and a smoother surface for makeup application. • Effective Sebum Control: It contains a "Pore Tightening Complex" (including lemongrass and mint peel) that helps keep midday oiliness at bay without stripping the skin bone-dry. • Clean and Convenient: The tub comes with a secondary lid and tweezers, keeping the pads saturated and hygienic. • The "Glow" Factor: Because it uses AHAs and BHAs (Salicylic Acid and Betaine Salicylate), it clears out the "gunk" inside pores, making them appear smaller and the skin look brighter. The Cons: What to Watch For • Fragrance: These pads have a distinct, slightly medicinal/citrus scent. While refreshing to some, it may be irritating if you have a high sensitivity to added fragrance. • Tingling Sensation: If your skin barrier is compromised or you are very sensitive, you might feel a slight sting. It’s a potent exfoliant, not a soothing toner. • Price Point: Compared to basic drugstore toners, Medicube sits at a premium. You are paying for the convenience of the pre-soaked formulation and the specific patented ingredients.

      Great product, great price!
Color: Zero Pore Pads, Size: 70 Count (Pack of 1)
These toner pads have been amazing for my skin! They leave my face feeling incredibly smooth, refreshed, and clean, and I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in texture and overall glow. I especially love using them while removing my makeup because they make my skin feel extra fresh and clean afterward. I do notice they leave a slight semi-dry/tight feeling on my skin at first, but once I rinse and apply moisturizer, my skin feels absolutely amazing — soft, balanced, and hydrated. The pads are well soaked, easy to use, and make my skincare routine feel so much more effective. I’ll definitely continue using them! I also feel they work just as great and are not as over priced as so many others out there.

      They really do work!
Color: Zero Pore Pads, Size: 70 Count (Pack of 1)
I rarely give reviews that aren’t motivated by disappointment, but this is one of them. Medicube makes several products that I use alongside $170 serums and creams, and the Zero Pore Pad is one of them. I love the dual texture, and even after using a pre-cleanser and a “microfolient” face wash (both expensive washes from by Dermologica), the Zero Pore Pad is my ONLY choice for a toner. Compared to the products that go on after using the pads, the pads are incredibly affordable for the results I’ve seen. On the rougher side of the pad, this toner still somehow finds pockets of sebum that are visible on the pad after using as directed. It’s like magic. I’m on my third container of Zero Pore Pads and I can say, without a doubt, they have had noticeable results on my skin, mostly on my nose and the cheek area around my nose. The size of my pores are now smaller, almost invisible. This is despite the fact that I layer a bunch of serums, creams and a moisturizer at night that I lock in with the peel-off Medicube collagen mask. Despite the weight of it all on my pores, the pads still have worked, and they aren’t harsh like some toners-but if you have very sensitive skin or are on acne medication, go with their milder sister product). I wash my face three times a day due to the ick of polluted air and layers of moisturizer and sunscreen, so I’ve been using these three times a day, but occasionally I use the Koji and Tumeric Pads, which have had no noticeable effect aside from serving as a basic toner. The application is lovely on all Medicube’s pads with their dual texture, but like the collagen mask these Zero Pore Pads really do work (for me). Because skin varies with age and melanin content, I am a pale white woman (female at birth) of Scandinavian descent so I don’t know if these would have had the same impact on me at age 17, but now they work, really well. I literally have the glass skin K-beauty prizes—I just used the pads and thought I had something on my face because my skin was shining. I love these, try them!
