Favorite Things: Wide, open sandy areas of established reef tanks with moderate lighting (LED or metal halide) and gentle to moderate flow. Known for its beautiful concentric striping and sticky tentacles, this anemone naturally hosts many clownfish species, including Ocellaris, Clarkii, and Saddleback Clowns. Feed small meaty foods such as silversides, mysis shrimp, or finely chopped seafood.
Best Buddies: Great centerpiece for reef tanks with clownfish. Avoid mixing multiple large anemone species in the same tank to prevent chemical warfare. Keep away from corals that may be stung by its tentacles.
