This is a ski that could be the perfect choice for any skier who wants to ski the entire mountain. It is an ideal waist width for any condition, and with really good rocker profile and construction it can handle just about anything that any mountain can throw at it. Built like a racing ski inside, and shaped like an all mountain freerider on the outside, Brahma is a proverbial test favorite.
Blizzard's core designs have always been state of the art, and the Brahma 88 is now even better thanks to its new TrueBlend core. Stiffer, denser wood is strategically placed in the core, providing extra stiffness where needed (in the center of the ski) but still allowing the tips and tails to be softer for easy turn initiation and playfulness from edge to edge. Each ski model and size has its own, uniquely designed TrueBlend core, and also its own rocker/camber profile as well.
Even with two full sheets of Titanal inside, which often gives the ski a quiet, but deader feel on the snow, TrueBlend Core skis are energetic, and more lively from edge to edge. Carbon fiber layers at tips and tails, makes this ski feel light and easy to get from turn to turn. Off trail, this ski simply shines, with its mid wide shape, and double rocker profile. It is very smooth, powerful and has an incredibly stable ride at speed.
