The Totolink A702R V4 1200Mbps Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router complies with the latest IEEE802.11ac Wi-Fi standards, working on 2.4GHz and 5GHz simultaneously and delivering wireless speeds up to 1167Mbps. Equipped with four external omnidirectional antennas, the Totolink A702R V4 supports to transfer of the wireless signal to further the distance with high wall-through ability, ensuring stable wireless connections without any network delay. Beamforming Technology allows intensive transmission of the signal to wirelessly connected devices, such as cellphones, tablets and laptops, thus improving the wireless transmitting efficiency and Wi-Fi experience for the users.
The Band Steering function enables the A702R V4 to transmit two band signals by the same SSID. According to the real-time Internet rate of the terminal, it can choose the band with higher speed and less interference for users intelligently. It has features that steer wireless devices(dual-band capable) to connect to the faster 5GHz Wi-Fi and it can reduce congestion of 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for those devices that support 2.4GHz only. Therefore, Band Steering not only gives full play to the advantage of multi-band but also improves the user's experience while surfing the internet.
