Brand new: The HANS Helmet Clips Quick Release are used for quick and easy attachment of the HANS system to the motorsport helmet.
The standard HANS clips are simply replaced by the Simpson HANS quick release clips on the helmet and, in conjunction with the quick release tether brackets on the HANS system, are approved by the FIA with the standard 8858-2010 for motorsport.
The quick release function makes it easier to fix and, of course, detach the HANS® system from the helmet - by simply pulling the bright yellow release straps. This opens the brackets and the tethers of the HANS® system can easily be detached from the helmet. When not in use, the ends of the yellow release straps are simply attached to the helmet with the supplied Velcro fastener.
Approved for use on helmets with the following homologations:
FIA 8858-2010 , FIA 8860-2010, Snell SAH2010 or FIA 8859-2015, Snell SAH2015
Can only be used with a HANS® system with Quick Release Tether bracket!
Set consisting of 2 clips: Including fastening material and yellow drawstrings for loosening the HANS Quick Release fixation on the helmet clips.
