What is included with the Duraflame 5.5" Fire Pit?

The Duraflame 5.5” Fire Pit is made from stainless steel construction, has a built-in stand with feet that fold out, a removeable grate, pellet chimney and a convenient carry bag for easy storage and transport. The Duraflame™ 5.5” Fire Pit is 6.8” high and has a diameter of 5.5”.

What type of surface can I use the Duraflame 5.5" Fire Pit on?

The Duraflame 5.5" Fire Pit is for outdoor use only, and was made for smaller areas like outdoor tables, parks, beaches, tailgates, camping or any favorite outdoor hangout! The Duraflame 5.5" Fire Pit should always be used with the fold-out feet fully engaged and placed on a fire-safe stable surface. During use, the fire pit will become extremely hot, do not touch and hot air may gather under the feet. Please check all area fire burning guidelines, and never leave your Duraflame Fire Pit unattended or near combustible materials.

What is the pellet adapter?

The Duraflame Fire Pit comes with the pellet chimney, which is designed to place on the center ring of the removeable grate. This placement allows for an appropriate amount of airflow around your pellets. The pellet adapter is not needed when burning wood and wood chunks.

How do I light the Duraflame 5.5" Fire Pit?

Place a fire starter on the removable grate. When using wood or wood chunks, ignite the fire starter with a long matches, a torch, or stick lighter. Slowly begin to add wood, sticks and kindling. As the fire begins to burn, add more fuel until full. Continue to add wood and sticks for as long as a fire is desired. When using pellets, place the pellet chimney on the center of the removable grate. Place your fire starter around and inside the center of the pellet chimney. Using a torch, long matches or stick lighter, light the fire starter. Slowly add pellets to the burn chamber, pouring them around the edges of the pellet chimney. Continue to add pellets for as long as a fire is desired. Do not fill pellets higher that the inner vent holes at the top of the fire pit, which can cause ventilation to be blocked. Do not add pellets too quickly, as they can reduce airflow causing the fire to be extinguished.

Can the Duraflame 5.5" Fire Pit be used under a roof, such as a covered porch, deck, gazebo, umbrella, etc.?

The Duraflame 5.5" Fire Pit is for outdoor use only. It is recommended there is proper air flow and ventilation and not recommended to use under any form of cover.

Can I touch the Duraflame 5.5" Fire Pit while in use?

No, the Duraflame 5.5" Fire Pit will become very hot while in use and will be very hot to the touch. It should never be left unattended and should allow time to cool after use before cleaning up and storage.

So I will say I enjoyed the story, for sure had its moments where it dragged but it was a great story. I really liked that omegas picked their alphas/make the pack. Normally the Alphas make it and the omega fits in with them which is great but I enjoyed this new version where all the power basically went to the omega. It was a nice change of pace. I can admit some of the weird bedroom stuff with her being pregnant was odd, it’s really not hard to do stuff when pregnant (I know I’ve had two and it’s normal and even encouraged at the end especially if you want the baby out). But I like the story as a whole and will read the second, I do hope the next one isn’t dragged bc it stopped being action or tense after she met her alphas and I don’t think it was brought up or properly done when they tried to do it. More sweet after she left.

I’m a little disappointed.

I usually like Jillian West’s books but this one was missing a lot for me. The pregnancy didn’t come across as real. She’s on her feet for 12 hour days but is perfectly healthy at 8 months pregnant? Yet the week she moves in all of a sudden she’s not? She is planning on actually running during one of the plot buildups. But at 8 months pregnant that’s incredibly hard to do. The lack of breathing ability and lung space, the change in body center, mass, and gravity. All of it prohibits running, unless you’re an athlete this didn’t come off as at all realistic. I didn’t feel any connection with the alphas. There wasn’t any emotional connection. It could be because of the tense it was written in. But I didn’t get any deep feelings out of this. It came across as checking off boxes. Even the spicy scenes weren’t really believable for me. I wanted to see them fall for her, and it just kind of all fizzled. Even Bishop. One thing I did really like was the ending. I did not see it coming and I’m interested in reading book two because of it. But on the whole this book was mostly disappointing for me.
