Circa 1900.
This charming and compact marble top chest of drawers is beautiful in design. It has a lovely satin birch colour which is really unique and highly desirable. The tilting mirror is removable and the chest is made of a solid construction with dovetail joints for the 3 drawers which provide ample of storage.

The drawer fronts are beaded in a darker colour which adds a lovely decorative detail. 

The rounded beading on the sides of the chest really make the piece stand out.

Overall a rare find of its kind.

Condition report:

In great antique condition throughout as has been freshly polished. Overall, a lovely example of its kind. There are couple of chips on the marble and 2 small holes on the side of chest where the other handle would have been.  They certainly do not take away from the beauty as you can see from the photos. Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home! We ask that you take the time to look at all the photos as they form part of the description and condition report of the item.
