Panterra 120 GW features a NEW SHELL design called Power Cage. The fantastic fit remains the same from the original Panterra, but the overall shape of the outside is slimmer, and the weight is lighter yet again. Performance is upped as well, by concentrating more material in some places, increasing power transmission to the ski's edge. And, less material in other places removes unnecessary weight. Furthermore, the walk mode as also been improved, and now offers a 50 degree range of motion.

This Panterra models also includes new Grip Walk soles. Grip Walk is a whole new world for any skier who walks any distance in their ski boots. Maybe a hike up to that special spot that is not lift served. Or, maybe just walking in the parking lot. Ski boots have never been this easy to walk in.

The heart of the Panterra's design is Dalbello's well proven Cabriolet design with THREE important features. (1) The forward flex and lateral stiffness are separated from each other, (2) the location of the innovative Dynalink buckle holds the foot down and back in the shell better than any other buckle system on the market, and (3) the lower cuff hinge points allow a very natural movement of the leg fore and aft.

InstaFit liners are molded to perfectly match the contour of the foot on the inside, while also perfectly matching the inner contour of the shell on the outside. This Panterra 120 IF features the IF Comp liner, the highest performance InstaFit liner found in the Panterra family. It is quite firm, but offers a really nice fit right out of the box, and will mold well to your foot during the first few days of skiing. Like all InstaFit liners, it can also be heated to conform to the shape of your foot more quickly.

How does the Panterra 120 fit? The overall shape of the boot fits medium to slightly wider than an average volume foot. Width is average, the toe box is roomy and the heel pocket is nice and snug. The instep is slightly HIGHER than many overlap boots, and the upper cuff is a bit SHORTER (shorter yet if the spoiler is removed) and snug. If you have medium to wider feet, an average to higher instep, and/or larger calves, this will be a great choice for you.
