Understanding the Political Climate of 1848

The June Days Uprising of 1848 marked a significant moment in French history. This period was characterized by social unrest and political turmoil. The revolution arose from the discontent of the working class, who felt marginalized by the government. Key Figures and Events Leading to the Uprising

Key figures such as Louis Blanc and Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte played crucial roles during this time. The uprising was ignited by the closure of national workshops, which provided jobs for the unemployed. This decision led to violent clashes between the government forces and the workers, particularly on the streets of Paris, including the iconic Rue Soufflot.

I’ve been very happy with this Batana Oil. It feels like a high-quality, 100% raw and natural product. Since adding it to my hair care routine, my hair has felt softer, more moisturized, and healthier overall. I’ve also noticed less breakage and improved manageability.

Clear Self Tanner, Main Character Results
Color: Ultra Dark, Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I love, love, LOVEEE b.tan. I discovered them during lockdown in 2020 when we were all chasing serotonin and a decent glow, and I’ve been loyal ever since. The scent, the color, the fact that I never end up orange or streaky… they’ve earned my trust. So when I saw they had a clear gel formula, curiosity won. Immediately. And yes, it delivered. Packaging (small detail, big win): Before we even get to the tan itself, I need to mention the pump clip. The bottle arrived with a little clip around the pump stem so it couldn’t be pressed during shipping. No leaks. No mystery tan explosions. I’ve kept the clip for travel because it’s genius. More brands need to do this. Gel consistency: This gel is the perfect middle ground. Not thick and sticky, not watery and messy. It spreads easily and evenly, especially with a tanning mitt, which I always recommend no matter the formula. It glides on smoothly and blends without effort. No panic blending, no racing the clock. No-rinse, no transfer: It goes on completely clear, which means no guide color, no stained sheets, and no awkward “don’t touch me” phase. It dries fairly quickly too. I was dry enough in about 10 minutes to throw on loose sweats and go about my evening. Dark, loose clothing is still your friend, but this formula is forgiving. Color & glow: This develops fast. Within 20–30 minutes, I could already see color starting to come through. By about 5–6 hours later, I had a deep, sun-kissed bronze that looked natural and even. No streaks. No orange tones. Just a rich glow that looks like you spent time outside instead of with a mitt in your bathroom. On top of all of this it leaves my skin feeling hydrated like I used a body lotion. Scent: This is one of the reasons I keep coming back to b.tan. There’s no classic self-tanner smell. It actually smells good, fresh and clean, and that stays true even as the tan develops. No “what is that smell?” moments. Product usage & value: What surprised me most is how little product I used compared to foam formulas. A little goes a long way. At $15 for a large bottle, the value is excellent, especially considering how dark and even the results are. Overall, this gel is everything I want in a self-tanner: easy, clear, fast-developing, great-smelling, and deeply bronzing without drama. Five stars, zero hesitation, and officially my new go-to in the b.tan lineup.

Sun kissed without the sun damage!
Color: Ultra Dark, Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Color: Ultra Dark, Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I’m officially obsessed with this self tanner. The glow is unreal! Super natural, bronzy, and not even a hint of orange. It gives that “just got back from vacation” look without the sun damage. It actually smells GOOD while applying, which is rare for self tanners. Typical self tanner smell once it sets. It goes on clear, which I love because there’s zero transfer onto clothes or sheets. The only downside is that since there’s no guide color, it can be a little tricky to see where you’ve already applied it, so take your time and blend well. But honestly... The end result is flawless, even, glowy skin. 100% a staple for me now!

Good lasting color
Color: Ultra Dark, Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I have been a big fan of this brand for quite a while. I do like this specific one. The smell is not over baring however I always mix any self tanner with lotion or oil to help it go on more evenly as well as masks and possible unappealing smell. It does not rub off on clothes unless your sweating then it may but I refrain from wearing white the first day I apply but after that it’s no problem. Color is good for me. I’m fair skinned so it doesn’t so it works well for me. But the downside to that is it can be more noticeable when it starts to fade because it doesn’t fade evenly. It fades as your skin cells slough off so a good exfoliating shower helps with that. Then reapply! And the color last longer then most other brands I’ve tried
