Montegrappa's in-house artisanal resin avoids the environmental excesses of conventional acrylics, incorporating recycled material in mesmerizing textures unique to each example. Issued in editions of 999 rollerballs and fountain pens, the limited availability of I Colori dell’Oceano is emblematic of an ecosystem under strain.
Preciousness is encapsulated in a Montegrappa hallmark. The signature ruzzolino clasp is realized in pearlescent resin at the base of an oyster-shell clip specifically sculpted for this edition. Nature’s ability to filter impurities from the water to create a shiny pearl is symbolic of the task that lies before us all.
