What is Arachidonic Acid? 

ArA is an omega-6 fatty acid found in most cells in the body such as the brain and fat tissue. ArA is vital in the normal inflammatory process when you train or even become injured. Essentially ArA is the nutrient responsible for telling your muscles to repair themselves after they have been damaged training.

When you are training, the damaged muscle cell enzymes run towards the damaged tissue to use the ArA, this then creates prostaglandins. Prostaglandins regulate the inflammation processes that stimulate the growth of our muscle cells, this is also the same reason you ache post workout.

ArA is naturally occurring in beef and eggs, however it contains so little it wouldn’t cause any benefits. Blitz includes ArA at a dosage of 1400mg to enable faster muscle growth, faster recovery and improved strength.

Blitz also includes BioPerine® a patented version of black pepper extract which helps the bioavailability of the ArA.
