It has an all-metal 3-way pan and tilt head that uses a circular quick release plate for a more intuitive way to attach your camera.
The rapid two-section center column is faceted, so that it cannot rotate accidentally, and the flip locks work securely with minimum movement. The Pro 700DXQ has foam-padded upper segments to ease carrying on your shoulder and working in the cold, and its simple angled rubber leg tips give a firm footing.
