Although our baskets are made to last, they are not suitable for sitting on. Due to the natural, hand-woven nature of this product, minor sharp edges or exposed fibres may exist. Please inspect before use and snip off any protruding strands with secateurs or scissors.

Our ‘whitewash’ wicker products are exactly this. White-Washed! They are dipped in a large vat of watery white paint. Once dipped, the paint on the external sides of the wicker is ‘washed’ off with a rag. This results in a more saturated shade of white sticking in the crevices, and a much more variable translucent ‘white’ appearance on the surface of the wicker, thus creating the look we refer to as ‘Whitewashed’.
