Hawke Sports Optics ' green 10x42 Endurance ED Binocular features phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms, extra low-dispersion (ED) glass, and anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics to produce a versatile and capable optic that produces bright and clear high-contrast images with true color rendition and virtually no color-fringing. Coupled with the optical features are 42mm diameter objectives which give the binocular very competent low-light performance. This combination of optics and objectives make the Endurance ideally suited for most outdoor activities from hunting, to birding, to sporting events.
Complementing the optical performance are construction details that make the binocular durable and comfortable to use. Its durability starts with a lightweight and corrosion-resistant magnesium alloy chassis that is protected by green rubberized armor. The armoring is also textured to give it a non-slip grip. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof - especially in extreme weather conditions. A right-eye diopter adjustment allows the binocular to be customized to most people's needs, and twist-up eyecups means it can be comfortably used with or without eye wear.
