In 2018, to celebrate the lamp's 50th anniversary, Martinelli Luce invited several world-class designers including Studio Natural (Marco De Santi and Alessandro Paoletti) and Marc Sadler to reinterpret the iconic silhouette with unique graphic "textures." The Studio Natural version is often recognized by its clean, mathematical, or "nature-inspired" graphic approach. While the lamp retains its classic 360° rotating resin body, the texture transforms the surface into a canvas of contemporary art. Like the original, it consists of two molded bodies. The rotation allows it to go from a perfect sphere to the "Cobra" strike.
