Installation Instructions
For Pressure Filters (Under-Counter/Countertop):
- Place the rubber O-ring over the threaded mount and screw the candle into the housing until a seal is made. Do not over-tighten.
- Flush the filter by running water to waste for 10 minutes.
- Allow the filter to stand unused overnight, then flush again for 10 minutes before use.
For Gravity Filters:
- Place the sealing washer over the mount, secure it through the upper housing hole with the wing nut. Do not over-tighten.
- Discard the first full chamber of filtered water.
- Run water until it is clear; your filter is then ready for use.
Cleaning & Maintenance Guide
Restore Flow Rate: Over time, the ceramic shell will trap particles, which may reduce water flow. To restore performance, simply remove the cartridge and scrub the surface evenly with a clean abrasive kitchen pad under running water.
