The Donation Pen supports carefully selected cultural projects from pioneering artists the world over with a donation of 20 euros per fountain pen and 10 euros per ballpoint or rollerball. This edition pays tribute to Hungarian-British pianist and famed conductor Georg Solti.  The clip recalls the instantly recognizable shape of a piano keys, while the cap rings conjure both the strings of the piano and the lines of blank sheet music.  Sir Georg Solti's signature on the Montblanc Donation Fountain Pen's barrel is emblazoned in bright red, a nod to the hand-written comments he would leave on musical scores in red wax pencil. The cap and barrel are made out of black precious resin combined with platinum-coated fittings, and the rhodium-plated nib is exquisitely engraved with a dove.

One of Solti's greatest joys in life was the card game bridge, and each pen is therefore accompanied by a cassette of bridge cards.
