This intake system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow LIFETIME Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical design allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. A little longer than the filter the mechanic used last time, and that is a good thing.
At first I was concerned that this filter is about 3/16" longer than whatever one was there before, but it went in perfectly, and I realized I was getting extra filtering ability over the old one. Pleased. Volvo S60 2001.

Almost a Five Star
I have used this brand exclusively on my BMW (110K) and Volvo (90K), with synthetic oil changes at 6000 miles religiously, and neither burns a single drop of oil. I have never seen any "failure" of the filter, which remains firm until the end. Unfortunately the price advantage has been eroding over the years- boo. So lost a star for that-
