The XTS TRAIL outsole combines all characteristics which are indispensable for work safety, no matter if inside or outside as well as for highest demands in the outdoor area: It is slip and abrasion resistant, heat resistant until 300°C and disposes a specially designed lug tread with waste flex grooves as well as dewatering properties. Additionally euqipped with ESD, a protection cap made of fiberglass and a FAP®anti-perforation protection, it satisfies high safety demands. The intermediate sole of IMPULSE.FOAM® reacts to each of your steps with an energy impulse and provides maximale damping, outstanding stability and durable comfort.The ULTRATRAIL GREY LOW is made of full-grain leather with abrasion resistant textile applications and is designed in discrete grey with applications in signal coulour yellow. This model is available as in sizes for ladies as for men and in the lady sizes, it is equipped with a special fit and a shoe tree especially adapted to the needs of the female foot. FAP - FAP® is a non-metallic material for safety footwear made of multiple textile layers of extremely tearproof fibers. The FAP^®  midsole offers greater comfort, flexibility, cold insulation, humidity absorption and shock absorption to the wearer.

ESD - ESD shoes are indispensable as they prevent electrostatic charging. They serve to protect from electrostatic discharge, which can e.g. damage or destroy electronic components.

XTS SOLE - Our ALBATROS® XTS Sole is made out of a special rubber compound. Therefore, it is particulary durable, absorption-active, heat-resistant up to 300°C (HRO) and slip-resistant (SRC). The differently formed and especially arranged profile elements offer support and surefootedness on every ground and have self-cleaning properties. Furthermore, the sole is oil and fuel resistant as well as antistatic.

The shoes meet the requirements when footwear is tested on a clay tile surface which has been lubricated with a wetting agent (Sodium Laurel Sulphate) and when footwear is tested on a stainless steel surface which has been lubricated with oil (Glycerol).
