Cherry Audio 에서 ODC 2800 신디사이저를 발표하였습니다.
지금까지 나온 ARP Odyssey 의 3가지 버젼을 하나로 담은 3 in 1 버츄얼 아날로그 신스입니다.
ARP Odyssey 는 생산 년도에 따라 화이트, 검은색/금색, 검은색/주황색 등으로 도색이 변하여 출시 도었고 도색 이외에도 필터 부분이라던가 여러가지로 각각 다른 특징이 있습니다. Mk I, Mk II, Mk III 이 시대에 따라 필터 디자인이 모두 다릅니다.
2800 화이트 페이스 모델은 4023 12dB/Oct 2극 필터를 탑재했는데, 이는 유명한 무그 래더 필터와 유사하다는 점에서 매우 부정확한 이야기이지만 마니아들 사이에서는 전설의 소재가 되었습니다. 검은색과 금색 페인트를 사용한 2810은 4035 24dB/Oct 4극 래더 필터를 사용했고, 최종 버전인 검은색과 주황색 2820은 4075 24dB/Oct 4극 캐스케이드 필터를 탑재했습니다. 그래서 각 버젼별로 호불호가 갈리기도 하였습니다.
3 가지 필터 모두 high, low and bandpass 를 제공합니다. 또한 3번째 VCO와 확장된 envelope, arpeggiator와 같은 추가 성능 기능, 그리고 이해하기 쉬운 FX 섹션도 갖추고 있습니다.
이펙트 섹션에는 디스토션/EQ, 듀얼 페이저, 플랜저/코러스, 3가지 타입의 딜레이, 5가지 타입의 리버브 등 총 5가지 스튜디오급 이펙터들을 탑재하고 있습니다.
이것을 다 경험 해볼 수 있도록 ODC 2800 가 출시 되었습니다.
16 voice polyphony 와 aftertouch 를 지원하며, 오실레이터와 LFO 등 그외에 다양한 기능들이 추가 되어 있습니다.
벨로시티, 채널(모노) 애프터터치, 폴리포닉 애프터터치 등을 모두 지원하여 화려한 연주를 할 수 있있습니다

Not terrible, but I won't be repurchasing

2.5 stars from me. I've been using this as a near-daily sunscreen for 3 months. I like it better than some other sunscreens I've used, but I'm dragging my feet to use the rest of the bottle haha. And I definitely won't repurchase. I'm hoping there's a magical sunscreen out there waiting for me that I love...
Pros: It doesn't leave a whitecast, it doesn't pill, it presumably blocks the sun!
Cons: If I put it anywhere near my eyes it will get in them, I will taste it in my mouth if it's applied anywhere near my mouth, it stays shiny throughout the day, I feel like I'm not allowed to touch my face (This may just be all sunscreens though)

Perfect Travel Size TSA approved size

I recently bought the Coppertone SPORT Sunscreen SPF 50 Lotion in travel size for my son’s first trip to Cancun alone, and I have to say, it was a fantastic choice! Whether you're headed to a sunny beach, a day of fishing, or just need reliable protection from the sun, this sunscreen delivers. Here’s my review based on its performance during the trip:
Convenience and Travel-Friendly:
The travel size is perfect for anyone on the go. It’s small enough to meet TSA guidelines for carry-ons, so you don’t have to worry about checking luggage or dealing with oversized bottles at security. My son was able to easily pack it in his carry-on without any hassle. Additionally, the compact size makes it super convenient to throw into a pocket or backpack for a day of fishing, beach trips, or any outdoor adventure.
Sun Protection:
The SPF 50 provides excellent protection from harmful UVA and UVB rays, which is especially important for long hours spent in the sun. Cancun’s sun can be intense, and my son was out in the elements for several hours each day (and I wasn't there to remind him to reapply sunscreen), whether he was fishing, swimming, or just relaxing at the beach. He didn’t get burned once!! As a mother of a redheaded 18 year old son I've spent the past 18 years of my life ensuring he wasn't scorched by the sun and Coppertone has yet to let us down!
Water Resistance:
The water-resistant formula is a huge plus, especially in places like Cancun, where you’ll likely be in and out of the water. My son spent plenty of time swimming and snorkeling, and the sunscreen stayed put. It lasted through sweating, splashing, and even sea water exposure without needing constant reapplication. It’s perfect for active outdoor activities, whether you're swimming, surfing, or just sweating it out in the sun.

Dries clear, moisturizing, silky, great value

I have fair to light combination skin. I use this on my body, but not my face. It goes on very thick and white, but sinks into the skin lightning fast (within just a few seconds), and it becomes completely invisible. It leaves my skin moisturized and looking and feeling silky. Best body sunscreen I've ever tried. And I love that it is water resistant! I find it too heavy and moisturizing to use on my face, but people with dry skin would probably love it for the face, too. I imagine it would be fantastic for them under makeup. The price per ounce is very reasonable, making it a great value.

IT does protect from the sun.

It protects from the sun without a doubt and lasts well. The downsides are that it leaves a greasy and "white" residue that no matter how much you rub it in.....it stays there. I use it when I am working outside and not planning on going anywhere anytime soon.
