Properties

The TECElogo insert coupling has a maximum operating temperature of 70°C and a maximum pressure of 10 bar for heating systems.

Installation

To assemble the fitting, you can use the handy toolbox which includes a pipe cutter, calibration, and chamfering tools. Since the TECElogo system uses push-fit fittings, no special pressing tools are required.

The assembly of the coupling goes in a few steps:

• Cut the pipe to size and deburr the ends to prevent any damage to the pipe.
• Insert the pipe into the coupling and check through the inspection window to ensure the pipe is inserted far enough into the fitting.
• The clamp ring inside the coupling creates a secure connection, with the O-rings providing the seal.
• Made the wrong connection? Use the disassembly spanner to dismantle the connection.

After assembling, the system should be checked for tightness.
