The unit requires a rough opening that measures 15-3/4 inches in width by 29 inches in height by 7-3/4 inches in depth. The unit extends 1/2 of an inch from the wall once properly installed and holds up to 12 gallons of waste. The receptacle portion of the unit, the frame and the cabinet are all manufactured from type-304, 22-gauge stainless steel. To prevent theft, the receptacle portion locks into the cabinet and can only be removed when the included tumbler lock is opened with the provided key. The edges of the waste receptacle are hemmed to prevent injuries. Inside of the receptacle, plastic hooks are mounted for holding reusable vinyl liners, which help keep the interior of the unit clean and make emptying the waste easier. All of the exposed surfaces have a gleaming No. 4 satin finish.
