Care Instructions

• Rinse with water after each use to remove salt, sand, or chlorine
• Hand wash or machine wash on delicate at 30ºC in a wash bag with mild detergent
  
• Hang to dry in the shade (no direct sun)
• Do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean
• Store in the travel bag once fully dry.

• Always check that all straps, seams, and fasteners are secure and undamaged
• Make sure the leg openings are properly adjusted so your baby cannot slip through
• Confirm your baby is positioned correctly before entering the water.

Safe Handling & Body Position

• Take extra care when walking or leaning. Bend at the knees—never at the waist
• Only use the CubCarrier for children weighing 4kg–15kg (9lb–33lb)
• This carrier is intended for one child at a time.

Suffocation Warnings

• Babies under 4 months can suffocate if their face is pressed against the wearer
• Ensure baby’s nose and mouth are always visible and unobstructed
• Your baby’s chin must never rest on their chest—keep their airway clear at all times
• Monitor your baby continuously while in the carrier
• Do not allow your baby to sleep in the carrier.

General Use Warnings

• Keep the carrier out of reach of children when not in use
  
• The carrier should only be worn by individuals who have full mobility and can maintain constant awareness of the child
• Neoprene can increase body heat—avoid long use during hot weather.

T.I.C.K.S. Babywearing Rules

• Tight: Baby should be held snug and close to you
• In View: You must be able to see baby’s face at all times
• Close Enough to Kiss: You should be able to kiss the top of baby’s head by leaning forward
• Keep Chin Off Chest: Make sure baby is never curled into a position that restricts breathing
• Supported Back: Baby’s back should be well supported with their tummy and chest resting securely against you

Water Safety Guidelines

• The CubCarrier is designed for gentle water play only—wading, splashing, and shallow water activities
• Not suitable for swimming laps, diving, surfing, or any water sport
• Never submerge your baby’s head underwater while using the carrier
• Stay aware of water depth, currents, and your surroundings at all times.
