Phonak Lumity Life is powered by innovative Phonak SmartSpeech™ technology. They have also updated the beam forming microphone technology to StereoZoom 2.0 which enables the user to focus on the speech coming from the front in environments with higher levels of competing noise.

Speech Sensor

Speech Sensor is a brand new feature in Phonak Lumity hearing aids designed to detect speech from other directions other than just the front and preserves those speech signals so the hearing aid wearer can switch attention when desired to other speech signals around them. Phonak’s research show that around 80% of the speech is naturally from the front during social outings. With the remaining 20% being from the sides and behind it is important to be able to hear these speech signals too.

Happy with them
I'm putting up shelves around my bed for my books, and so far, the first shelf is holding nicely with these brackets. They seem pretty sturdy and were easy to install with the screws and anchors that came with it. I measured out where i wanted the brackets on the board and then screwed them to it. I then held it against the wall and used a level to make sure it was level, then put a screw in the middle bracket to hold it level while i marked the rest of the screw holes. I did this all by myself, but it would've been a lot easier to do with two people. I plan to buy more and put up more shelves

Does it's purpose with style
We used these in our pantry and dining room for shelves and they turned out well. The only reason they are hard to install is because of the design (which is very nice) so it is worth it. It just takes time when you you are hanging the shelves, to do it correctly. While they can hold a lot, we realized that a bunch of cans or jars cannot go on these shelves. Luckily we had another option for heavy items (Example: We had about 40ish pounds of cans/jars on a 1x12 board that is 33 inches long with 2 of these brackets...and it was too much). If you do not need to hold a lot of weight, these shelves are a for sure, for the price and quality. If you NEED they for something heavy, then you probably will have to go with something more practical from a hardware store. We LOVE them for our pantry!
