Horst is crafted from a pair of mid-blue jeans, giving the bag its distinctive tone and texture. What makes this piece special is the visible contrast of denim: the lighter shades come from the inside of the jeans, while deeper tones reflect the outer fabric. This interplay creates a unique, almost lived-in look that can’t be replicated.
Each strip of denim is cut, prepared, and transformed into yarn by hand before being crocheted stitch by stitch. The entire process takes between 12 and 15 hours, making Horst a true slow fashion piece.
Finished with silver hardware, this bag combines a clean, modern aesthetic with raw, recycled materials. The inner lining is made from cotton and hand-sewn into the bag, while the inner pocket is crafted from the original jeans - keeping part of its story alive.
