Returns

WeighSouth products are precision instruments that require careful handling and inspection upon delivery. Customers are encouraged to inspect all shipments immediately upon receipt and to report any visible damage or discrepancies within 48 hours of delivery. Claims made outside this period may not be eligible for return or replacement.

Unless otherwise stated, WeighSouth products are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and includes all accessories and documentation. Items showing signs of installation, misuse, or damage will not qualify for return.

In most cases, returns are accepted for inspection and verification prior to any credit or exchange being issued. All returns must be pre-authorized and accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Titan Scale USA. Products returned without prior authorization may be refused or subject to additional processing delays.

Return shipping costs are generally the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where the return is due to our error or a verified product defect covered under the WeighSouth manufacturer warranty. Once a returned item is received and inspected, any approved refund or exchange will be processed in accordance with the Titan Scale USA General Return & Exchange Policy.

Because many WeighSouth products are drop-shipped directly from the manufacturer, additional handling time may be required for inspection and processing of warranty-related returns.

Warranty

All WeighSouth products are covered by a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty starting from the original date of purchase. This warranty guarantees that each product is free from defects in materials and workmanship and that it meets all published WeighSouth product specifications when used under normal operating conditions.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to another party. It is designed to protect against manufacturing defects only and does not cover wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by improper use.

The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship discovered during normal use and any failure of the product to meet published specifications when used as intended. It does not apply if inspection shows that the product has been misused, abused, handled improperly, used for a purpose other than its intended design, installed or adjusted incorrectly, operated in unsuitable environmental conditions, or repaired or altered by anyone not authorized by WeighSouth.

If you believe your WeighSouth product is defective, please contact us to initiate a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). The product must be returned freight and insurance prepaid to the manufacturer for inspection. If the claim is approved, the manufacturer will repair, replace, or credit the product—at their discretion—and return it to you freight prepaid. Products repaired or replaced under warranty are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.

Beyond the remedies listed above, no other warranties, expressed or implied, are provided. This includes any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In all cases, the manufacturer’s liability will not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

WeighSouth and its distributors are not responsible for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use a product, even if advised of the possibility of such losses. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, time, or convenience.
