We typically use this space to describe the Jazz Fest Poster subject. But recounting the career of everyone in the rich tapestry of America’s most enduring indigenous art form - showcased for fifty years by the world’s greatest festival - would require a book. We’ll let Scott Guion’s brilliant family portrait speak for itself and just list those portrayed in his iconic assemblage, left to right, and note their highlights. Those previously celebrated on Jazz Fest & Congo Square posters include links to their posters and bios. Those appearing for the first time on this poster are marked with an asterisk (*). As with all family portraits, some worthies are regrettably absent.

About the Artist

Scott Guion is an artist & musician born in New Orleans in 1971. His murals and paintings are in museums, entertainment venues, and private collections coast to coast; yet he remains the ultimate insider’s secret. His large-scale commissions for the House Of Blues, Hard Rock Cafe, B.B. King’s Blues Cafe and The Grand Ole Opry are widely admired for their idiosyncratic fidelity, color tone and visual harmonies. His work has appeared in Rolling StonePeopleBillboard and NY Arts magazines, among others. His individual patrons include Taylor Swift, Sheryl Crow, Amy Grant and many more. Now you know what they know - what your eyes already told you: Guion’s synthesis of music, personality and paint is nothing short of brilliant. The 50th anniversary poster deserved nothing less - doubling up in every way on the last such landmark: the sold-out 25th anniversary poster by Peter Max (JF94).

Katrina blew Guion out of New Orleans. He currently resides in Nashville with his wife and son.

Each poster comes with an outline key identifying each person and a brief description of their accomplishments.

Framing Options:

All our frames are crafted from archival materials, and are finished in beautiful satin black. The framed Unsigned print uses a 1.25" profile frame. The Signed and ReMarque edition frames have a .875" front profile with a 1" depth, creating an elegant shadowbox effect. The float-mounted ReMarque edition showcases the edges of the archival print in a gallery-quality presentation. All matted prints feature a 1-1.5" wide white neutral pH matte. Although Art 4 Now's oil-based silkscreen inks are highly stable, our glass-clear acrylic adds additional protection, blocking 87% of UV rays. All framed prints come fully assembled and ready to hang!  Art 4 Now does not provide retail framing services onsite.

The orange and blue ball is perfect. Once start taken because the because the blue noisy one was a little to easy for my dog to start ripping pieces off. Will say most toys do not survive his chewing.

Aggressive chewer who loves fetch approved!!
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
I highly recommend the Chuck-It brand in general, especially for dogs with an aggressive bite. These balls are awesome and are the most durable balls I’ve bought for my 50 lbs lab mix. He has not been able to break one of them yet and we’ve had a few of the squeaky balls for months. They are a bit pricey but worth it. The one in the pic has been used for months, lives outside and you can see it’s still in great shape.

Good quality dog ball for playing fetch
Size: Medium
My dog and family love these chuck it balls to play fetch with our dog. They are durable and fun. They squeak which is added fun for any dog! Regular tennis balls my dog chews apart and they get pretty gross after playing and being left outside. These can be easily washed off and cleaned. These balls last! Would recommend to anyone with a dog and would purchase again.
